  • 120g Cheese
  • 340g Pasta
  • 360g Canned tomatoes
  • 2 tomatoes Tomatoes
  • 110g Baby spinach
  • 2 cloves Garlic

Method

  1. Prep the ingredients Set out cheese, pasta, canned tomatoes, tomato, spinach and garlic. Wash, trim, and chop tomato, spinach and garlic before heating the pan. Measure cheese and canned tomatoes.
  2. Cook the pasta Bring a large pot of salted water to the boil and cook the pasta until just tender. Drain, saving a small mug of cooking water.
  3. Cook the base Heat a large pan over medium heat and cook tomato, spinach and garlic until softened and smelling good.
  4. Make the sauce Stir in canned tomatoes and simmer for 8-12 minutes until thickened and evenly mixed.
  5. Combine Fold the pasta through the sauce. Add a splash of pasta water if the sauce needs loosening.
  6. Serve Finish with cheese, then divide into bowls while it is still hot.
