300g Rice
2 capsicums Capsicum
2 tomatoes Tomatoes
110g Cheese
1 onion Brown onion

Method

Prep the ingredients Set out beef mince, rice, capsicum, tomato, cheese and onion. Wash, trim, and chop capsicum, tomato and onion before heating the pan. Measure cheese.
Cook the base Cook rice according to the packet directions, then let it steam off for a few minutes so the bowl is not watery.
Prepare the protein Cook beef mince in a pan until browned and cooked through.
Prepare the vegetables Cook onion for 3-5 minutes until tender, then add capsicum and tomato off the heat.
Season the bowl Season the warm ingredients with salt and pepper before assembling.
Assemble Divide rice, beef mince, and vegetables between bowls, then add cheese.
