Ingredients

  • 340g Tuna
  • 340g Pasta
  • 1 head Broccoli
  • 220ml Milk
  • 110g Cheese
  • 2 cloves Garlic

Method

  1. Prep the ingredients Set out tuna, pasta, broccoli, milk, cheese and garlic. Wash, trim, and chop broccoli and garlic before heating the pan. Drain tuna. Measure milk and cheese.
  2. Cook the pasta Bring a large pot of salted water to the boil and cook the pasta until just tender. Drain, saving a small mug of cooking water.
  3. Cook the base Heat a large pan over medium heat and warm tuna with broccoli and garlic gently until the vegetables start to soften.
  4. Make the sauce Stir in milk and simmer gently for 3-5 minutes until slightly reduced. Keep the heat moderate so the milk does not split.
  5. Combine Fold the pasta through the sauce. Add a splash of pasta water if the sauce needs loosening.
  6. Serve Finish with cheese, then divide into bowls while it is still hot.
