Ingredients

  • 560g Chicken breast
  • 4 potatoes Potatoes
  • 300ml Milk
  • 150g Cheese
  • 1 onion Brown onion
  • 140g Frozen peas

Method

  1. Prep the ingredients Set out chicken breast, potato, milk, cheese, onion and peas. Wash, trim, and chop potato and onion before heating the pan. Measure milk and cheese.
  2. Start the pan Heat a deep oven-safe pan or pot over medium heat and cook chicken breast until browned or warmed through.
  3. Add vegetables Add onion and peas and cook for 3-5 minutes until softened.
  4. Add the base Stir in potato and milk. Add 1/2 cup water to keep the mixture moist.
  5. Cook through Simmer or bake at 200C for 29-39 minutes until the vegetables are tender and the mixture is hot.
  6. Finish Scatter over cheese and let it melt. Rest for 5 minutes so the texture settles.
  7. Serve Spoon into bowls while warm, keeping the creamy potatoes and filling together.
